Each participant will have an opportunity to build a Dream Protection Pouch with stones and sacred items supplied by Quynn. \nOur Dreaming mind is one of our most powerful ways to know self & the worlds within and around. This ability is a gift to us before birth into this world. Quynn opens this circle with divination and a focusing of intention related to what is needed. A 20 minute sound meditation follows to provide a space for each person to connect within for insight and guidance about one’s dreaming self. \nIf you feel disconnected from your dreams\, you might ask for an ally or helper. If you have nightmares\, you might approach the dream in a guided way to learn more about the experience\, and to explore transforming the feelings around it. \nAfter the sound meditation there will be time for optional sharing and an opportunity to build a Dream Protection Pouch with stones and sacred items supplied by Quynn\, chosen by you\, which you can keep. \nWe close the circle with a blessing of protection in all realms. We come together to release some of the pain and to redirect our attention to rebuilding and expanding as we continue on\, each at her own pace.

DESCRIPTION:For those that have lost mothers\, this will be a sacred opportunity to honor our mothers and hold space for our grief. We will gather in a circle around a community altar.\nOur circle will include guided meditation\, breath-work\, sharing\, ritual\, yoga\, QiGong & somatic movement practices. \nPlease bring an item that reminds you of your mother for the altar (you will take it with you after the circle)\, water\, journal\, and pen. I recommend wearing clothing you’re comfortable moving in. \nThis gathering is by donation. Mother’s Day is a beautiful day for celebrating our mothers\, and can also be extremely painful for those of us who are grieving the loss of our mothers.\nMy intention for this gathering is to hold space for our love and grief for our mothers.\nMy mother passed away about 6 months ago after a month of being in the ICU from a work-related injury. She was 61\, and healthy and vibrant before the incident. My grief has been deep and at times completely overpowering\, and I find so much healing in community\, ritual\, movement\, and intention. \nI hope you will join me\, and that we all find a sense of peace and gratitude with our grief.

If so\, please join me for this circle. \nWhether your instrument is an old and trusted friend\, or you are beginning your relationship with your drum or rattle\, come and connect more deeply with this sacred being\, with like-minded people\, and their drum friends. \nThere is a style of rhythm making that is particularly conducive for opening the dreaming mind and activating an Inner World experience. This circle focuses on this kind of drumming. Bring your rattle\, hand or frame drum. If you do not have your own drum\, we have a couple to share. \nIf your drum is new to you\, do not be nervous about how well you play your drum in this circle. The only way to get more comfortable is to play your drum. This circle is a safe place to do that. For those who have a strong relationship with your drum(s)\, you can go deeper in your relationship.
