Cold is relative, depending on where you are on Earth, (in space too), but whatever the temperature and conditions of a particular winter somewhere, most earthly life dies in extreme cold.  For us, and all human ancestors, our human mothers birth us, and each winter is a deep initiation, until we pass from our body.
