Transformational Cacao & Drumming Circle

February 16, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

About your host: This circle is hosted by Ayahuasca Kaur. Ayahuasca has extensive experience in assisting others in overcome mental, emotional, and spiritual blockages. She has helped countless clients transform their pain with multiple modalities. Aya has a Masters in Social Work and has been in the mental and behavioral health field for over 10 years and crossed over into alternative healing around 2016 as she found psycho-spiritual approaches and the power they had on the soul.

About the group: Join us for this event as we journey into ourselves utilizing the power of the drum and the spirit of cacao! Cacao’s spirit reminds us of how important self-love is, it helps us remember our authentic selves, aligning with our higher self, feeling more connected to self and others. Cacao reminds us to honor our sacred self by nurturing our mind, body, and soul. It helps us balance masculine energy, like strength and independence, with the divine feminine, like compassion and nurturing. Cacao assists in boosting serotonin, tryptophan, and dopamine. It is high in magnesium which assists in calming the muscles and central nervous system. Unlike coffee, cacao contains theobromine which stimulates the cardiovascular system which opens the blood vessels and helps with alertness and relaxation at the same time. Drumming allows us to tap into non-ordinary states of consciousness with the repetition of the beat. Expect to receive insights, feel relaxed, and walk away with feeling lighter and rejuvenated!

Things to bring:

-Eye mask to cover outside distractions (not required but can assist in going inside deeper)
-Water
-A piece for the altar (if you wish)
-A journal and a pen to write down insights you receive during the drum journies. Journeys are much like dreams -potent, vivid, but easily forgotten. You will want to remember what occurred, so you can properly integrate in the next coming days.

How to prepare:

-Think about your intentions for the experience. What is that you are wanting to change? That you need? Clarity? Insight? The more specific you are, the more you will get out of this experience.
-Come with an open mind and open heart. Avoid expectations – let the event unfold naturally.
-Come fasted (at least 3-4 hours prior). Eat lightly that day. This will allow the cacao to take its full effect
