I am writing to let you know about a meaningful training series that begins on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The Full Circle Shamanic Healing Practitioner Training. It is one Saturday a month for 7 months.
Saturdays October 1 2016, November 5, December 3, January 14 2017, February 18, March 18, April 15 11am-5:30pm. Participation in all sessions is expected.
I have offered this series since 2003 and I love it each time! I watch each participant get to know their spiritual abilities and expand their confidence in their inner knowing. I am writing to those who might be wondering if this training is for you now…and feel unsure about signing up for such a series….
-LEARN YOUR OWN WAY-
I learned how to shamanize from my Spirit Guides and I share this method with people in this series. Everyone has a unique set of gifts, and their own “cultural way”, even if you do not yet know it. I consider myself a tour guide, a host and coach, as you practice. For those who feel called to be some kind of healer, or more specifically, a shamanic healing practitioner, the best way to unfold your gifts is to be in a safe environment with others of like-mind, and a capable guide. This series offers that opportunity.
-AN INTUITIVE APPROACH-
I do not offer one cultural approach of shamanic practice that you must “learn”. I focus on the themes that apply to all humans. I create an environment for each person to ask your inner teachers what is wanted from you. I set up situations for you to practice tuning in to people you do not know. This approach makes some people nervous (those who want to be told how to do every step and method), but I find that we have multiple wise lineages within our DNA, and there are inner teachers waiting to teach you the way for YOU.
-EXPAND YOUR ABILITIES-
You do not have to feel called to be a shamanic practitioner to participate. I understand that there are many healing modalities and only a few people are called to the role of “shamanic practitioner”, but shamanic techniques can be infused into your existing or unfolding practice to enhance your ability to assist people in their healing. If you do feel that you are “called” in a shamanic way, this series will guide you in understanding what is being asked of you, so you can be of service in the community.
This training does not “make” you a “Shaman”, or even a “Shamanic Practitioner”. Consider this series a Level 1 series. During this training series, Quynn helps you hear your calling in this field of spiritual healing, and holds space for you to learn from your shamanic/animistic ancestors and inner teachers.
-WHAT WILL I LEARN?-
Our culture needs many skilled healing practitioners with shamanic understanding to fill the need of our communities. This course customizes each segment and activity to every participant’s unique abilities so that you can forge your own practice in the way that your guides and ancestors want. While Quynn does not “certify” anyone as a shamanic healing practitioner because she feels that this role is only certified by one’s spirit guides, Quynn shares her expertise and experience with you to help you find a shamanic/spiritual niche that you can fill for your community.
Each meeting will include experiential learning through shamanic journeying, divination, self-reflection, sharing, as well as opportunities to offer and receive healing experiences. Practicing these skills is considered to be important for any emerging Shamanic Healing Practitioner.
The following areas of shamanic practice will be approached and participants will practice:
1) Ceremonial Space Holding (building trust, healing altars, confidence in sacred space)
2) Soul Healing and Activation for self and others
3) Sensing in the Dark (understanding your unique ways of intuitive perception)
4) Nature and Spirit Guide Communication
5) Rhythmic Trance skills (drum and rattle)
6) Divination (utilizing tools of “chance” to tune in to messages)
7) Shamanic Journeying for others (soul retrieval, extraction, infusion and restoration)
8) Hosting Circles for others in areas of your interest
-Prerequisites:
I ask that participants are working through my ebook A Tribe of One (you can purchase at linked page) so that all are familiar with my approach to shamanizing, which I call Full Circle Shamanizing. You do not have to have it completed by the 1st. This series is not include instruction about shamanic journeying, so if you are interested yet have never journeyed, please find a circle between now and the 1st to attend, or find a mp3 workshop that suits you at the ONLINE LEARNING page at www.shamanicanimism.com . -MONEY-
I offer this 46 hour training series for an affordable sliding scale, allowing people with various financial situations to participate. I ask that you honestly assess where you fall within that scale, regarding what “you can afford” for this training. Those who pay the upper end compensate for those who pay the lower end.
If you are called to this training, yet the lowest amount is too much for you, reach out to me. Inquire about a limited number of partial trade slots that are available. If you are already in another training series of ISA, or you have already participated once in this series, and you want to participate now, reach out to me regarding a reduced rate if needed.
