Those who put their bodies in harm’s way by participating in peaceful street protests need more protection. On this weekend of Summer Solstice and New Moon, it is a perfect time to focus our energies in a helpful way.

We who support the cause of racial equity, and have a desire to stop police brutality against black and indigenous people, will use this time to collectively share our protection prayers with those who need it most. Each one who attends to pray is asked to light a candle and/or burn a clearing plant.

Quynn will say an opening prayer and help set the intention, then there will be 9 minutes of silent praying and offering it where it is needed. We will close with a prayer of protection and gratitude.
