The first Eco-Chaplain training begins Saturday, January 31, 2026  10am-11:30am MST and continues for 9 months on the following 4th Saturdays. 

This is about you, and where you are. Where you are at any moment is a sacred, living place. The role of an eco chaplain is to notice where you are, and then listen, look and feel your situational awareness, and to reflect this individual and collective experience in ritual creation. 

This is primarily found in the act of skillful listening to the beings seen and unseen who are present.  Created rituals center around acknowledgement,  clearing, release and grounding. The resulting micro upliftments deflect despair.  The practice of the eco-chaplain contains several layers of application.  The first and most important is the development of critical listening skills that receive information with a neutral mind to ensure best understanding.  What are the various threads which connect to the web of life?  How does observation of unfolding reality impact me, the eco-chaplain emotionally, spiritually and physically?  What actions am I called to enact in the situationally aware moment?  Am I centered with the new information?  

After contemplating these questions, there can be meaningful animist sharing.  The primary factor in the eco-chaplain practice is to relate outside influences with inner mental states and be aware how psychic triggers/activations and glimmers operate.  Rituals allow necessary painful information to be handled without self destruction.  Clearing, letting go and grounding  is the heart of this practice in dispelling the impact of disrespect and destruction of the sacred.  Recognizing and upholding the balance between joy and sorrow is a skill in the application of animist communication in these challenging times.

This Eco-Chaplain training is free for those in Web of Life Animist Ministry, Pastoral Counseling and/or Spirit Bridge training at this time, and is offered by Spirit Guided Donation for Ministers already ordained through Web of Life (or other church), Spirit Bridge practitioners and Earth loving friends of Web of Life Animists.
