Beat the Monday Blues LGBTQ+ Exclusive Mindfulness Meditation 1st & 3rd Monday

Don’t let Monday keep ya down! Come join a welcoming LGBTQ+ only, silent sitting, laying, and walking meditation. Loosely based on Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice. For those who are looking for an inclusive space to share their meditation practice or for those who want to start a practice, this circle is for you. The goal of this is to make our practice as fun as possible while learning to stay in the present moment. This is a simple, life changing practice.
All body types, all ages are welcome and chairs are available.
The event is an hour long with a 15-20 minutes (if needed) instruction in a simple sitting and walking meditation practice for new comers, a short contemplative reading, then 40-45 minuets of sitting/walking/laying meditation.
This class is led by Rachel Kelser who has been an active meditator since 2011. She received formal meditation training at a local Tucson sangha from 2016-2018 and continues to practice daily. Mx. Kelser is an active member of the Tucson LGBTQ+ community and believes that a sitting practice can help reduce the suffering of her beloved community.
Donations accepted. Requested donation is $5-$10. Offer what you can.
