It is said that our Eyes are Mirrors to our Soul. Mirrors are powerful tools for reflection, protection, camouflage and time/dimensional traveling. Today is the day every four years to recalibrate the Gregorian Calendar we currently use for counting days. On this day we can more easily leap forward and back in four year skips. We can also think of this day as the one that reminds us of the fatal flaws of the Colonization of our Time, Calendar, and Lives. However we count days, a fundamental part of being in the physical world is the process we call Aging.

Honoring the multitude of lessons and blessings we have received through our experience of getting older, is what this ceremony is about. As we age, we may get caught up in how things used to be for us. Our bodies may become unfamiliar or go through transitions we don’t know how to react to. We may not feel that we have the same capabilities that we used to, yet we gain new abilities.

As we look into the mirror of time, we can enhance our ability to experience the blessings and challenges of becoming an older person (whatever our “age”) with curiosity and grace.

Please join us as we work with mirror magic, flower essences, rhythm, movement, toning, and crystals to receive messages and assistance we need in the moment. On this “Leap Day” we offer this interactive and uplifting ceremony to bring adults of ALL AGES together to find our inner resources that guide us forward with grace and ease.

This ceremony is hosted by Elisabeth Black and Quynn Red Mountain, and Animist Ministers at Web of Life Animist church.
