Online-Beat the Blues-LGBTQ+ Mindfulness Somatic Meditation

During these upsetting times, start the week off with centeredness and calm!
Come join this welcoming LGBTQ+ only space. The meditation style is loosely based on Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice. For those who are looking for an inclusive space to share their meditation practice or for those who want to start a practice, this circle is for you.
Since you will be in your own personal space, you can make yourself comfortable sitting on the floor or in a chair.
The circle is an hour long with a 10 minutes instruction at the beginning if needed. Rachel will share a short contemplative reading, then will offer 40-45 minutes of a combination of sitting and somatic (stretching, breathing, body oriented) meditation.
This circle is led by Rachel Kelser who has been an active meditator since 2011. She received formal meditation training at a local Tucson sangha from 2016-2018 and continues to practice daily. Mx. Kelser is an active member of the Tucson LGBTQ+ community and believes that a sitting practice can help reduce the suffering of her beloved community.
This circle will be offered through zoom.
