Preparedness Power – Building your Emergency Pack for your Animals and You!

When we think of emergencies, we can feel overwhelmed. This circle is offered to think about the needs of our animal companions, our family and self in various types of situations.

During our current times of climate and cultural disturbance, it is a helpful practice to contemplate the whats/whys and whens for our personal,family and community preparedness.

In any season, it is important to think ahead and be as prepared as possible for a variety of potentials. In this community care circle, Quynn and Jacob will share info about different types of timeframes (15 minutes, 1 hour, being ready for coming days), scenarios (leaving for a few days, pets, health etc) and how needs might be considered for our animal companions, and our human needs, depending on your unique situation.

This is not a doom scrolling “prepper” workshop. After conversation about the process of thinking about needs, Quynn and Jacob will share their evacuation packs, (a work in progress) for short/longer term situations, to offer ideas and learn about a variety of helpful items.

This circle is helpful for older people, folks with specific needs, and anyone who is unclear about what is most important for them in a panic filled moment of need.

Special Needs and Considerations

The share by Quynn and Jacob will be recorded for those who cannot attend. Participant shares will not be recorded.
