The Altar Path

Autumn brings a new project to ISA, the Altar Path!  The “Altar Path” honors the land spirits and nature energies around Tucson, with simple to elaborate altars.  Each altar is created and removed on the day of the event. “Leave no trace” is the method.  This altar was created to honor and offer gratitude for the coming of the cool autumn weather.

We zip here and there in our daily routines, and yet we hurry by sacred spaces all around us.  This series brings the intentions of prayer to nature places around our little city. Wherever you are, you can make an Altar Path where you live too.

Here are some photos.   To find out about more Altar Path Circles, go to our meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/tucson-institute-for-the-shamanic-arts/#calendar.
